Only $25,000 to go !!!

MyBillofRights.org is excited to announce that since October 1st we’ve raised over $100,000 for the Bill of Rights Monument at the Arizona Capitol. Thanks to a strong response from a broad array of community leaders, our goal of being ready to dedicate America’s first monument of the Bill of Rights this December 15th – Bill of Rights Day, and the 211th anniversary of the day it was ratified – is within reach.
All we need is another $25,000, and we will be fully funded by November 13th – the optimal date for the installation work to begin in order to dedicate on Bill of Rights Day. And so far we are right on schedule. The stonework is already 75% finished, with Amendments I-V inscribed and completed, and all ten of the limestone monoliths now fully sculpted.
Help us get the rest of the way, and add your name in joining with the 1000+ individual donors that have made possible America’s first monument of the Bill of Rights. Contribute here (how about now!) and help us make history for future generations.

It’s December 15th. Do You Know What Day It Is?

Last December 15th when I was surfing my way through the morning news, Good Morning America and at least one other of the national morning shows ran the same story about what a very special day December 15th was, because it was … National Cupcake Day!

This December 15th we have the opportunity to change that storyline. The Bill of Rights Monument at the Arizona Capitol will be a new landmark, as well as a graceful and inspired invitation to reconnect with the freedoms and principles that we are charged with honoring.

Freedoms like free expression and the right to bear arms, and principles like the presumption of innocence and due process under the law. Where the unalienable rights of the individual has supplanted the divine right of kings.

This Bill of Rights Day, help us dedicate America’s first Monument of the Bill of Rights. Give at MyBillofRights.org/contribute, and give National Cupcake Day the day off!

We’ve created special $3, $5, and $10 pages for small donors to use, and then tweet and re-post the link, asking their Facebook friends and Twitter followers to do the same.
http://mybillofrights.org/my-3-dollars-worth/
http://mybillofrights.org/my-5-dollars-worth/
and http://mybillofrights.org/my-10-dollars-worth/

With over 90% of our contributions being less than $50, small donors have traditionally been the heart of MyBillofRights.org and our mission. Now you can be the backbone of this final push to complete America’s first monument of the Bill of Rights.
